You are also able to add more than one pet to your plan for 10% off on each additional pet. After applying for coverage, there is a 5-day waiting period for accident coverage and a 14-day waiting period for illness coverage. For knee and ligament issues, there is a 6-month waiting period. 

Prudent Pet does not limit the choice of licensed vets available and covers cats and dogs only. As long as you see a licensed vet and they offer plans in your area, you are able to receive coverage from Prudent Pet.
