You visit a licensed vet clinic or specialist in the US, pay the bill, and submit your claim form attached with the invoice from your vet visit. The claims department will process the claim, and you will receive reimbursements within two weeks from the date of the claim. 

To ensure the process is smooth, you need the following items for verification with the claims department.

  • Download a claims form from the official website, filled and signed
  • Attach the medical report for your pet from the licensed vet. You can also include the prescription drugs recommended. Medical reports are also termed as SOAP notes which could be handwritten or digital
  • The bill from the vet

The platform offers several options through which you can submit the claims. First, you can log in to your account from the official website and click on MyPets Account to file the claims. You can also submit your claims through fax at 877.281.3348 or send an email to submitclaim@petfirst.com. You can also send the claims via the platform’s postal address listed on the website.
