The program offers coverage to cats and dogs and does not limit the maximum age. However, the minimum age for enrolling your pet is 8 weeks. 

You can create your account by signing up through the official website or mobile app. The program offers a user-friendly mobile app on both Android and Apple phones. You will be required to enter your pet’s information to become a member of ASPCA® Pet Health Insurance program. Once you have created your account, you can visit the member center to add your pet, link your active credit or debit card to pay monthly premiums. The sign-up process is fee-free.

Submitting claims is easy and straightforward. First, you need to visit any licensed vet clinic in the US and take a copy of the bill. You can choose to file your claim through the official website or the mobile app. When using the mobile app, you need to login and click on the claim icon. Here, you only need to describe what happened to your pet and attach a picture of your bill. You will get a notification once your claim has been received. 

If you are submitting through the official website, you need to login and select the member center, fill in some pet healthcare-related information and attach a picture of your bill. If you can’t access any of the above options, you can send it to ASPCA® Pet Health Insurance via email, fax, or mail. Pet parents can also track their claim’s status through the member center or through the mobile app. 

You will receive an email in case the insurance agency requires further clarification. The program reimburses your money for covered claims through direct deposits or electronic fund transfer.
